Advertising pre testing
The difference between a good advert and a poor advert can make a significant difference to your sales.
Testing potential advertising creatives within our panel will allow you to clearly see how each advertising idea will engage with your consumers and ultimately how likely it will be to generate purchase of your product.
Methodology
Each creative is tested monadically. This means that each advertising alternative is tested amongst a unique sample group to ensure that responses are based purely on the merits of that creative rather than as a comparison between alternative adverts.
So for example:
- Sample 1 see Advert A
- Sample 2 see Advert B
The results for Advert A and Advert B are then compared to determine which advert is working most strongly for the product.
Sample size
A minimum sample size of 150 per monadic is recommended.
Questionnaire
Each questionnaire we write is unique and defined to exactly meet the individual needs of our clients, however we would suggest that the questionnaire as a minimum should include:
- Overall impression
- Engagement
- Understanding
- Branding
- Key message take out
- Purchase influence
Timings
Typically we would look to present the results 3-5 working days after questionnaire sign off.
